Day 136, sunday, May 16, 2010

Fun Day at Natomas Park, the Big 10 finals for 4 & 8 Man Rowing Team. (Women too) Cal Men came in 2nd to Washington, but the Cal Women came in first. Quite the spectacle.

Day 135, Saturday, May 15, 2010

Swim Time Trials today so back home and found this bunny statue peaking around the flowers.

Day 134, Friday, May 14, 2010

Checked on the garden today. Radishes, the first bountiful harvest. This is a teaspoon. We had to pull them to thin out the row.

Day 133, Thursday, May 13, 2010

Cute hat huh..... The working man, taking down the tree.

Day 132, Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Today must be the day. I come home and find my sweetie up a tree, literally, chopping it down in pieces. Quite the side show. I applauded.

Day 131, Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Ever wonder what your salad looks like up close?

Day 130, Monday, May 10, 2010

This bug eyed creature guards the pool.

Day 129, Sunday, May 9, 2010

The sun is out and the fountain attracts all kinds of birds to bathe. Tinker walks around in it sometimes but it now seems level, a feat not easily tackled but accomplished by my sweetie again.

Day 128, Saturday, May 8, 2010

This looks pretty innocent but not on your bet. It is 35 feet tall and sheds pine needles everywhere. The biggest problem is for the pool. Down it must come. How my sweetie plans to do it may be a quandary to some but I am sure he has a plan. I must tho stay out of the picture and not I repeat Not make any comments as to No. 1 its progress or No. 2 any suggestions as to methodology. Its a guy thing I guess.

Day 127, Friday, May 7, 2010

This vine has the prettiest flowers but once its rooted, you can never get rid of it. Oh well, Chop Chop Chop, its by a doorway.

Day 126, Thursday, May 6, 2010

Missing Hana and found my little flower forest next to the patio. This must be how the ants perceive their universe.

Day 125, Wednesday, May 5, 2010

Not much to do today. This is a wind chime we got for our anniversary years ago but I dearly love it. It is viewed from the bottom up.

Day 124, Tuesday, May 4, 2010

Along with the parents this little guy was up at 5:00 (I cannot help repeating that amazing fact) yesterday saying goodbye to his sister.

Day 123, Monday, May 3, 2010

It is 5:00 in the morning but this is the whole crew going to Quebec. Homeroom teacher, French teacher and spouse and eight students. Two have never flown before. They will have a great time.

Day 122, Sunday, May 2, 2010

These glasses are going to Quebec via Hana and all her classmates are wearing them to the dance on the riverboat the last night they are there. Papa couldn't resist trying them out.

Day 121, Saturday, May 1, 2010

The first day of May. My May flower. The sun is out and so are our little friends the lady bugs. So cute. I can't take credit, Hana took this picture.

Day 120, Friday, April 30, 2010

We put in flowers and now have to put in hose guards so the flowers don't get torn out by mistake, there is always something.

Day 119, Thursday, april 29, 2010

Have you ever seen anything so ugly?

Day 118, Wednesday, April 28, 2010

So you might ask what is a glass and swimming have in common? Well I'll tell you I went to pick up Hana and all the kids had plastic glasses with a little water in them balancing them on their foreheads while doing backstroke laps. It makes sense, keep you head level and still while your body moves.

Day 117, Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Aren't Orchid's lovely......

Day 116, Monday April 26, 2010

When the kids get through swimming at about 8:15 at night, the lights to the pool are on and the lane dividers swirl while they are wound up and put away. Oh another season and practice practice practice.
