The City of Carmichael has an outdoor mural depicting the world seen as it exists from the river banks of their city. I have driven past it now for about 15 years and never stopped to look at it in detail. Very interesting to say the least, from this view of the white geese flying over the river rafters and underwater wildlife, to the riverboat passing gold panning men. Not far off is the Indian tribe with a squaw bathing in the river. At the end is the eagles soaring over the sturgeon swimming nearby. I'm glad I took the moment to view it.
