I was standing in front of a book selection looking for something that caught my eye to read when a stranger walked by and asked if I had read "The Shack". After her recommendation I did find it in the Best Seller section and bought it for $10.46. It was published in 2007 and is now in paperback. While reading it (fast read 2 days) I paused to contemplate what I was absorbing and had it in my purse where the title could be read. Strangers then stopped me and asked what I thought of it. Some had read it, some had only heard of it and some had heard the author when he had come to town on interviews. The reason I am blogging about it today is because I don't think a day will go by that I don't think of the saga that was told in this book. I believe it has truly enriched my life and answered questions that I have had about the meaning of this life we all go through. If anyone has read it I would like to know how it affected them and needless to say I recommend it. There were about 10 pages that just about lost me, but I plowed through those and am glad I did. I would send my copy to anyone who would ask but I don't think I can part with it right now. I would probably just buy a copy and keep mine.
i hope you are all well
