This is a Hawaiian Wall made up of red and black lava that many years ago came out of Haliakala (10,000 ft volcano). It is attached to some bamboo that leads out into the water. For our last day in Maui we went down to Kenna and went further past Big Beach to the end on the lava flow. This little bay is a resting place for Spinner Dolphins.
